For years, Eric has taught masterclasses and workshops all across the country… from private studios (Earl Cobb dance studio, Nunnbetter Dance, American Theatre Dance Workshop, etc..) to University Theatre Programs such as Rider Univ & CCM, and commercial educational programs such as Broadway Dreams Foundation, and Orbit Arts Academy.
He is well-versed in teaching Theater Dance; Musical Theatre Styles, Broadway Rep, Tap, etc… as well as acting, acting through song, song interpretation, etc…
In addition to workshops, Eric has helmed multiple theatrical productions for educational programs, and has taught for the Musical Theatre Program at the University of Utah; experiences which help him mentor students of any level.

Eric’s teaching and mentorship style comes from 30 years of professional experience, working with incredible craftspeople of all genres…. Being in the room, creating with the likes of Wayne Cilento, Kathleen Marshall, Nick Hytner, Joe Mantello…. And watching, first-hand, incredible performers like Brian D’Arcy James, John Lithgow, Bernadette Peters, Chita Rivera, Stephanie J Block, Kelli O’Hara, Sutton Foster…. has been immeasurably valuable.
Eric finds extreme joy and fulfillment in helping others harness their strengths, expand their scope, discover, and succeed in the field that he loves so dearly!
My recent workshop weekend at ORBIT ARTS ACADEMY included two differing dance combinations and also song approach/coaching both en masse and individual private sessions! Great to work with such dedicated and talented students!
